Development and Analysis of Multi-Degree-of-Freedom Piezoelectric Actuator Based on Elephant Trunk Structure

In most of the piezoelectric stacked motors studied, stator usually adopts two compound modes to drive rotor do step motion. This design method not only improves utilization rate but also torque output a certain extent and increases displacement. this study, new type multi-degree freedom actuator is proposed for stator. The realizes three vibration bending-longitudinal-bending on single stator, which changes longitudinal bending motion mode stepper motor along straight line. set as ball it rotate. designed presents different driving signal under will no longer be accompanied by return finite element used complete analysis, experimental analysis carried out after prototype made. multi-degree-of-freedom can achieve speed 8.56 mm/c load 1200 g at voltage 400 v working frequency 42.7 kHz.
